Maharashtra launches India’s first state-led convention bureau to boost global MICE tourism
The Maharashtra Government has announced the creation of the Maharashtra Convention Bureau (MCB), India’s first state-backed body dedicated to promoting global Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism. Introduced at IMEX Frankfurt, the initiative aims to establish Maharashtra—and Mumbai in particular—as a global hub for high-impact business events, aligned with the state’s tourism policy.
